Assistance Center of Towson Churches

Our Community

Celebrating 35 Years of Service

ACTC opened in 1985 following a study by the Towson Area Ministerial Association that identified ways to meet the needs of people coming to churches for help. Today, with the support of dozens of churches and a community of partners, our service area incorporates 19 zip codes in northern and central Baltimore County and northern Baltimore City. The center is overseen by a director and small staff and operates with a team of more than 60 trained volunteers
